Wurlitzer Lyric Cornet Serial Numbers

This is one of the most unique older cornets I have ever seen. It is a 1921 Wulitzer Stencil manufactured by Conn's 2d subsidiary Pan American in Elkhart IN. By changing the tuning slide configuration (see pics), the cornet plays in the key of Bflat, C, or A(never was a great tranposer). I received this horn from my grandfather in the late 60's. I am not sure if this is a cornet or a trumpet. Condition is as shown in photos. Looks to have been silver plated. Shows wear from heavy use including finish wear down to the brass in some areas. Discoloration and some small scratches and scuffs.

Not abused.just played a LOT. Imagine the stories it could tell. Slides are stuck. Could most likely be made operable with a little elbow grease. Valves seem well and are as shown.
